How We Pick / Affiliate Disclosure

Every product on Curiolist is hand-selected. We don't accept paid placements, and brands can't buy their way onto our lists. If something shows up here, it's because we genuinely think it's worth your attention — full stop.

We look for pieces that feel distinct. That usually means a strong point of view, thoughtful design, and a little bit of surprise.

We evaluate products based on:

• Design and visual appeal
• Quality and materials
• Originality and personality
• Craftsmanship and brand story

If it feels generic, trend-chasing, or mass-produced without intention, we skip it.

We also consider price and accessibility. Not everything we feature is inexpensive, but everything should feel worth it at its price point — whether it's a small treat or a statement piece.

We typically pass on anything we wouldn't personally recommend or gift. If it doesn't make you pause, smile, or say “wait, what is that?” — it's probably not for Curiolist.

We source from independent boutiques, designer collections, artisan marketplaces, and emerging brands.

Our process may include:

• Reviewing product details, materials, and sourcing
• Reading customer feedback and reviews
• Comparing similar items across brands
• Occasionally testing or handling items firsthand

We also pay attention to what our community is sharing, saving, and talking about — the internet is part of the curation process, too.
